GENERATING PHISHING, PHRAUD, AND SPAM REPORTS USING THE IETF INCH IODEF FORMAT

This area (webpage and related files)  holds the supporting data, tools, and examples to generate XML format incident reports for phishing.

The schema and DTD files relate to a version of the IETF's draft-ietf-inch-phishingextns.txt document. Note that just clicking and opening the documents in your web browser may lead to entertaining results as IE tries to execute the XML.

The grouping on this webpage follow the versions of the phishingextns document

A powerPoint-format presentation about Incident Reporting using the IETF INCH XML formats is available here

Web Page INCH Form Generator:

A XML XForms web page is available to let a user enter test information and generate an IETF INCH compliant XML report. The webpage was designed for testing, not production use. Entry of incident data within this page will not be submitted to anyone, at anytime, to do anything.

You will need an XForms-capable browser. Read about it here. The test page does not correctly render under every Xforms engine as I do not have a copy of every engine. If you do, please advise of any problems. My goal is to have the test form correctly render under forefix-1.1, Office Infopath, and formsplayer.

THE DATA IN THE TEST FORMS, THEIR OUTPUT, AND THEIR COMPLETENESS CHANGES PERFUNCTORILY (look it up).

**YOU MAY NEED TO SAVE THE FORM FILE LOCALLY TO GET THE XFORMS TO WORK (It depends on your browser settings.)**

· Form for draft-ietf-jevans-xmlphishing-00. (Released April 13, 2005):

A form compliant with draft-ietf-jevans-xmlphishing-00.txt is here. Screen shots of the form, page1 and page2, give an idea of what we're trying to accomplish. The resultant xml would look something like this -- phish.xml.
